The door is not just an entry to someone home but it also is the first thing that someone notices when they visit the other person’s house. It actually creates the first impression out for anyone. I act like a mirror to the family you are about to visit. Nowadays we have seen doors of different design and pattern and they use different technologies. One of the new designs is double glazed doors where we use double glazing or double pane for creating insulation. Double glazed doors have two layers of glass one inner and one outer. In between these layers, we have a complete vacuum or some gas. This helps in less or almost no heat transfer from outer to inner to inside the house or room wherever it’s used. Mostly we have glasses used for this purpose but in some cases, laminated or tempered fiber glasses are also used. Advantages Of Double Glazed Door Their thickness varies from four to ten mm depending on requirements. Mostly both the panes have the same thickness. The spaces between these panes are sometimes filled in with a substance called spacers or a warm edge; these spacers are the real insulating agents and are primarily made from either fibers or metals. Also while making spacer engineers keep in mind the sharp temperature difference between both layers which may cause the creation of ice or water due to a thermal imbalance between them. To reduce it the material used for the spacer is mostly a less or bad conductor of heat. This reduces chances of condensation. These double glazed doors are made on orders in case if end users have special requirements else standard units are also available. More the thickness of inner and outer glass/fibers in the unit more it is heat resistant. In the end, I would only say that everybody should use them in houses offices if their budgets allow it.
